In honor of Leigh Weimers – a long-standing, beloved writer for the San Jose Mercury News, whose stories welcomed the vast array of talent in the area – The Leigh Weimers Emerging Artists Awards have been a launching pad for up-and-coming artists in various disciplines throughout the Bay Area.
